D172

Introduction：

D172 is a CrMo surfacing welding electrode with titanium-calcium coating, which can be used for both AC and DC applications. It has good process performance with smooth arc and effortless slag removal ability.

Purpose：

The product is applicable for surfacing welding of gears, dredgers, tractor scrapers, deep plows, mining machinery and other worn parts.

Precautions:

1. Before welding, the welding electrode must be baked at about 150℃ for 1h.
2. Before surfacing welding of large work pieces, it should be properly preheated to about 300℃, and removed of the rust and oil stain on the welding surface.
